Submitted post-conference papers, following successful completion of the peer review and anti-plagiarism procedures, are published in the Oblicza Wojny series issued by Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego. We also collaborate with the journals Faces of War and AUL. Folia Historica.
Faces of War
Faces of War is our latest title, published semi-annually since 2024. Featuring exclusively English-language articles, it offers a fast-track publication process and a modern, engaging layout, making it an attractive venue for presenting research findings.
The journal is indexed in international databases, including CEEOL and JISC. All issues are available free download in PDF format on the University of Łódź Press website.
Oblicza Wojny
The Oblicza Wojny series has been published since 2022. To date, 11 volumes have been released, featuring articles dedicated to various aspects of armed conflicts throughout the centuries. All volumes are available for free download in PDF format on the University of Łódź Press website.
Acta Universitatis Lodziensis „Folia Historica”
With a tradition dating back to 1945, this journal has been published under its current title since 1980. Released as a series of academic fascicles, the periodical is dedicated to both general and Polish history — spanning from antiquity to contemporary times.
The journal is indexed in numerous academic databases and is included in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) list of ranked journals with a score of 40 points (2025).
